A few past Go GIRL activities

Queensland Women’s Week. A whole week of magic that started on Tuesday 8th March that included coaching by Janine Jungfels. There were rides to suit all ability levels and opportunities to meet other ladies from different clubs.

Talking about rides, our last one at Wooroi (Tewantin) saw us getting a bit dirty and getting a little air! Thanks to Deb and Sonja, who used their local knowledge to show us around the beautiful trails. Lots of fun was had if the squealing and laughter was anything to go on! The coffee and food afterwards was well earned !

We also organise rides that are geared to get beginners on their bikes. So if you’ve always wanted to try mountain biking keep an eye on the calendar for Go GIRL beginner rides. Plenty of support on hand. Make sure to bring some money for a coffee and a snack half way. These rides are what hooked me into mountain biking and I’ve not looked back.

Hope to see you on the trails!
