The Fraser Coast lads came down and did well… really well!
The Cystic Fibrosis Charity Race Day has successfully concluded and it would seem everyone really enjoyed themselves. Photos and an event write-up will be uploaded by the end of the week but for now here are the race results. Congratulations to Jamie Cardiff (2hr winner), Chris Bond (1hr race winner) and Kara Reading (Fastest Female) and also best crash prize winner Jason Taylor. A great big thanks to all racers, spectators and our volunteers. And another big thanks to Paul and Trish Vandeleur for hosting us on their beautiful land.
In a desperate attempt to stop the rain, last night I tried Grandma’s ye olde pagan MTB ritual at Parklands. Now obviously, as today’s weather indicates, I stuffed up. I went through and checked each step again and again and then I realised that the full moon is tonight!! IDIOT!! I can’t believe I made such a simple mistake! My hamstrings are killing me from all that twerking!
But long story short – the race day is postponed until things get dry again. Stay tuned!
PS: Sorry to that guy on a night ride and everyone watch out for a dead goat near Tazer trail.
Grandma’s Ye Olde pagan recipe cards are so handy

So far Paul’s place has dodged any serious rain so things are still moving ahead on that front (LOL! – weather pun!). Paul will keep us up to date and we’ll see how things are later in the week.
Bushranger Peter Legge has generously offered to take the photos for us this time around. We will upload them after the race for you to grab for free. If you want to pay for a bigger picture to be printed (maybe for the ceiling above your bed or something) I’m sure Peter can help you out. Check out Peter’s work at http://www.instagram.com/peterleggephoto/
