Depending on numbers, we will be conducting basic, beginner rides, (rookie rides) in Parklands (near Nambour) with some skills training for anyone wanting to try mountain biking. We start from the Radar Hill road carpark (map) and follow the 5km novice loop (with bonus trails if you are still up for more). We travel in a group and we have frequent rest stops to catch our breath and ask questions, so it will probably take an hour. There will be hills, loose surfaces, log rollovers, fire roads and twisty singletrack.
Email any questions to secretary@bushrangers.org or jump onto the Facebook page and leave any comments there.

Insurance is strongly suggested! We encourage riders to take advantage of the Mountain Biking Australia (MTBA) free trial program. You receive a 8-week free membership that includes nearly all of the features of a regular membership including the 24/7 personal accident and public liability insurance. More info about the MTBA free trial can be found at http://www.mtba.asn.au/membership/free-trial-membership/ . If you do not wish to obtain insurance through the MTBA then you will need to sign a waiver before riding with us – please email rides@bushrangers.org before the ride to organise.
