About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Away weekend camping at Karingal Scout Campsite riding Bayview on Saturday and Daisy Hill on Sunday.

Another great weekend away right at our back door.

The Albert Lindsay campsite at Karingal Scout Campsite has been booked by the Bushrangers.

1 Karingal Rd, Mt Cotton.

There will be toilets and showers available and a cost of $15 per person.

If you don’t have camp cooking equipment the shared option is always there. Miles and Amanda are happy to share their camp kitchen as will many others.

Some may decide to head out to Wellington Point on Saturday night to dine out.

There is no power available to re charge E bikes.  Please contact  a committee member if you need someone to take a generator.

When plans are finalized, (keep a lookout on Facebook) we will let you know about bookings and payment so don’t forward money until then.

***If you are planning on camping on Saturday night please deposit  $15 per person into the club bank account.
