About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Event Details

You’re invited to ride some fun, flowy trails with an expert leader who is not only lovely but keen to show you around her local trails.

This destination is definitely one of my favourites. This may be because our leader knows exactly how to put these trails together in the right order, making them a whole lot of fun. Her good nature is always on show too. She’s happy to give you helpful tips to progress you to be a better rider if you ask her for advice.

The location and meeting place will be revealed the previous day so keep an eye on the GoGirl Facebook page.

I suggest an early night, packing the night before and organising car pooling. Who doesn’t like a road trip with some great gals. Don’t regret not coming when you see our photos and smiles as this ride is usually only offered once a year.

Remember MTBA insurance a must, good hydration, spare tube and money for a social chat afterwards. This ride is a 2/3 grade and not suitable for absolute beginners.
