About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Our first trip away for 2025.

Saturday 3rd May 2025  meet at Hiddenvale at 8.am at the hut to pay and sign in.

Saturday night we are booked in at our regular sportsground camping site at Grandchester.

Camping fees are $5 per night (you need to pay in cash). The grounds have toilets but no showers.

Sunday 4th May riding any trail you didn’t ride on Saturday OR repeating the favs.

Sunday’s ride will start at 8 am.

There is a cost of $20 per day to ride at Hiddenvale.

If anyone is keen to book shuttles get in early to save disappointment.

The local pub is within walking distance of the campground. It is a good idea to book a table if you plan to go there for dinner.
