About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Event Details

The first Sunday of each month the Bushrangers invite anyone to come along and ride with us.

Ride leaders will cater for all different ride levels.

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at 6.45am am for a 7 am ride off at the Day Use car park.

Please listen to the ride leader and be mindful that there will be new riders in the group.

Club membership is not required however all riders must have insurance coverage. Please bring proof of insurance cover for mountain biking activities. If you do not have insurance then you can sign up to the Auscycling free 4-week trial membership: http://www.auscycling.org.au

We will always endeavour to notify of any cancellations as soon as possible but sometimes the weather can be unpredictable and it is necessary to cancel at short notice.
