Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Hey there everyone,

This Sunday’s Yandina/Cooloolabin ride will be the first “Support your local bike shop” ride (it really needs a better name).

Venture Cycles will be riding with us and we aren’t sure what cool bike they will be bringing along so come along to find out and have a chat to the guys from Noosaville.

This ride will be both a MTB ride and also a “gravel grinder” ride for people wanting to bring their CX or Gravel bikes. I’m keen to see how these modified road bikes perform around Cooloolabin Dam.

Remember there is two start points this ride. Yandina at 7.15am (grade 4 – 40km) or Cooloolabin dam at 8am (grade 3 – 20km).
