About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

National Volunteers Week 2017

The Bushrangers simply would not exist today if it wasn’t for the contributions made by the many volunteers over the years. We rely upon volunteers to serve on our club committees, lead rides, coach, advocate, run races, help with social events, and build and maintain the trails we love.

The club also depends on other volunteer organisations such as Suncoast Community Legal Service and Connecting Up for free or low cost services. Also those who volunteer their assets like land, BBQs, tools, skills and knowledge.

Please join us in thanking all of the volunteers who have helped the club become what it is today as part of National Volunteer Week.

Thank you

Ben Johns
Club President
