About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Proposed NRRT map

Hi Folks,

A proposed 130km Northern Rivers Rail Trail that travels between Murwillumbah and Casino, snaking through the beautiful areas of north east NSW, has been on our radar for a while now and it looks like it’s getting closer to becoming a reality.

They need funding to cover the design and detailed planning of the Casino to Eltham section of the trail.

I like to think of these kinds of trails as investments for later on in life when gnarly single track becomes too difficult to ride. However if the trail isn’t of interest then there’s a bunch of perks to pick from for your donation like hampers, passes, tours, stays etc.

You can find more information and make a donation here: https://chuffed.org/project/the-northern-rivers-rail-trail-a-community-trail.
