About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Parklands Radar hill 14/2/2021

Ride Report Parklands radar hill 14/2/2021 What a great day for a ride, overcast and no Sun, we will take that in February. Some of the Bushrangers finest 25 riders turned out for 3 divisions (Rookie, Intermediate and Reckless 😊) of mountain biking glory. wide-angle lens could not fit everyone in the photo. Monthly Rookie ride led by Millie and Co gave a wonderful tour of the mix of high/low tracks, riders Smiling all the way through the ride.  New riders feeling  welcome and included. Nice work and big effort team. 15km travelled. Well done. Intermediated division led by Amanda took in sights, sounds and sketchier sections of the parklands trail web. New member Chris riding some the hidden mountain goat tracks including the famous “S#!@ Hill” and then some! Nice work 17km ridden. Reckless rouges sought out the Gnarly hills techy tight stuff, rocks and a few Knocks to body and soul. Hope Mr J’s knee is OK. All tracks rolling fast and furious,...
