About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Peachester Ride report Dec 2021

Peachester Ride report So much to explore in this area of the glasshouse mountains . 20 Bushrangers warmed up riding the weathered track from old Peachester road to the town above.   Once the deep breathing had subsided the crew headed south to the single tracks. Creeks just trickling required some front wheel elevation to avoid a grit bath and that sinking feeling. Slightly damp sandy tracks were at their best. Fire roads turned to canyons of doom requiring some heavy lifting over large logs and skirting around some serious ruts. Rough and tumble from the overzealous down hill with Harper engaging with mother earth only to bounce back. Dean taking a chance on a big eroded drop to live another day. Simon from Fiji had missed the Australian soil so much he hugged the ground on at least 7 occasions also causing justification for a new bike !!.
