About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Strength and Mobility Clinic Summary – 14/11/2018

So last week we had a Strength and Mobility clinic put on by Levi at 547 Sports Performance.

To make sure it was relevant for our bike riding he asked us where it hurt when we ride so things like wrists, back, knees, pride etc.

He then explained why it hurt and took us through a series of exercises to stretch and strengthen our bodies. These stretches done regularly help provide pain-free riding and increase our endurance and strength. It was a good night full of interesting and useful information… even with all the physical pain, sobbing and cries of agony.  :o)

Thanks again Levi.
