2016 Annual General Meeting Summary
The club’s annual general meeting was quite the success attracting 21 people including Kurt from the Sunshine Coast Council and Rob from the Sunshine Coast Trail Alliance. Club updates and discussion were informative with everyone contributing and ensuring that the continuation and expansion of the club remains top priority.
This year the club will continue to focus on maintaining a variety of rides and events. Additionally we will aim to establish a new draft vision and charter to better position ourselves for future initiatives.
We will build on our relationships with the Sunshine Coast Council, South East Queensland Water, the Sunshine Coast Trail Alliance, National Parks and Wildlife Services, and Queensland Sports and Recreation.
Also we will continue to work with neighbouring clubs, Caloundra Off-Road Cycling Association, Sunshine Coast Touring Cycle Club, and the Noosa Trailblazers, and those clubs further abroad such as Gympie Bike Riders, Fraser Coast MTB, and Mountain Biking Bundaberg. On this note I like to remind members that they should always be considerate towards other clubs, especially on social media.
The AGM minutes can be found >here<.
Rides will now be coordinated by John Searston and lead by set ride leaders. Current ride leaders:

We continue to encourage members to volunteer help lead rides. Also not forgetting long time member Neil Innis and his fantastic ride organisation and leading around South East QLD.
The incoming committee, introducing Greg Bright as social co-ordinator and Michael Johns as secretary, is as follows:

On behalf of the club I would like to thank both Julie and Sonja for their generous contributions throughout 2015 in their roles of secretary and social co-ordinator respectively.
See you on the trails.
