About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Show Holiday Trail Care – Phoenix (V2.0)

When: Friday 1pm (10/06/2016)

Where: Atkinson Road, Parklands (top Of Phoenix)

Details from SCTA:

“If you’ve had your fill of tractors and fruit pyramids at the Sunshine Coast Show, come along to the Phoenix V2.0 trail polishing event.
We’ve just got some final shaping, trimming and compacting to get the trail open for business. Rakes and McLeod’s (rake-hoe) will be the tools of choice but some shovels will be good to pile up soil on the kickers.
Without getting ahead of ourselves, but we’ll probably need a few bikes to test run the features later in the day.
Bring your favorite floppy hats, uncool mowing clothes, gloves, rake, hoe or rake-hoe combo.
We’ll have a number of hand tools available also.
Thanks in advance guys !”
