About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

2019 AGM – 2pm Sat 02/03/2019 – Woombye Pub

Hey folks,

As the title says the AGM is going to be at the Woombye pub which is in…well… Woombye (duh!). Just drive down the main street, pass the shops and it’s at the end near the park. Plenty of parking around the back.

AGM will kick off Saturday 2pm and we’ll go through what’s happen this year then we’ll vote for filling in the new committee positions (or vote to wind up the club if no one wants the job).

The function room is beside the restaurant so you can come through the restaurant or the double doors from the carpark side.

They will be putting out some platters of nibbles for us and you can buy your own drinks.

See you there!

Michael Johns
(Soon to be not) Club Secretary

PS: We’ve had some feedback that people are scared of the I.T. side of things. With a couple of small provisos Ben and myself are happy to continue looking after that side of things. So as long as you are able to use a phone or send an email you’ll be just fine.
