About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

New Club Marquee and Flags

Thanks for the new bike shelter guys!

Last week we received our new fully branded club marquee and wave banners paid for out of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant. This completes our brand refresh with website, logo, letterhead, jerseys, t-shirts, social media and now event equipment all aligned to the club identity that was established at the beginning of 2016. Thanks goes to club secretary Michael for all graphic design work and organising.

This new events kit includes:

  • 3m x 3m marquee frame
  • 3m x 3m custom roof
  • 3m custom wall
  • Protective carry bag with wheels
  • Tie down straps and steel pins
  • 6 flags, consisting of 2 x “START”, 2 x “FINISH”, and 2 x Bushrangers banners (pictured below)
  • Fixing equipment for poles (pictured below), ground stakes and hard floor bases.

This can be combined with our existing marquee and banner to make a good size area for events.

Do you think you said Bushrangers enough Michael?
