About Our Club

Our club was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1995 when mountain biking (MTB) in Australia was in its infancy. Since then the club and the sport have gained popularity through advocacy and participation. The Bushrangers MTB Club is a volunteer based organisation run by enthusiasts, for the benefit of promoting and supporting mountain biking across the region.

We do regular rides all over Sunshine Coast and SEQ from Cooloola to Brisbane, in national parks, state forestries and council parks. Check out this website for more information on events, news, and for places to ride.

Update on Susie’s fall on Sunday

Susie our Women’s Advocacy officer had a bad fall on Sunday’s ride at Ewan Maddock Dam and had to be taken to hospital with an ambulance.

She got a ride on a fancy stretcher

Her leg and knee are banged up pretty bad and they are waiting for the swelling to subside before they can operate.

We are thinking about you Susie and we really hope you heal well and are back on your feet pronto.

When you can be sure to let us know how we can help.

Club Secretary

P.S. Susie had to give her age for the 000 operator and I was shocked to hear that she actually isn’t the 26 years old I thought she was!! Totally stunned!!

P.P.S. Her bike is OK. It was a little shook up and scared but otherwise OK.
